This front entrance in Burlington, Ontario had been neglected for nearly eight years and was completely overtaken by grass and weed growth throughout the joints.
To fix it properly, we pressure washed the full depth of every joint, not just the surface, ensuring all organic material and root systems were removed so regrowth wouldn’t return. After allowing the pavers and joint lines to fully dry, we returned the following day to install high-quality polymeric sand.
The sand was swept in, compacted to drive it to the bottom of the joints, and topped up to ensure full joint depth was achieved. Once activated, the new polymeric sand locked everything in place, significantly increasing joint strength and longevity.
The result was a dramatic improvement in curb appeal — transforming a long-neglected front entrance into a clean, refreshed approach to the home.
