This project was a full interlock transformation from front to back.

We lifted and removed approximately 500 sq ft of existing pavers and pressure washed every single stone to restore their original look. The old screening layer was completely removed (because it failed), the base was re-leveled and compacted properly, and new high-performance bedding was installed to ensure long-term stability before relaying the pavers.

All pavers were reinstalled, compacted, and finished with high-quality polymeric sand, which was swept and compacted into the joints to lock everything in and prevent movement, weeds, and washout.

In addition to the interlock repair, we removed all existing railway ties around the perimeter — including the back patio and the step leading into the house — and replaced them with a clean, low-profile wall system. The wall was carefully selected to complement the existing red brick without looking overly modern or out of place. Subtle, timeless, and intentional. Finished with matching coping for a clean look.

The result: Restored pavers, a major visual upgrade, and a space that now looks finished and functions the way it should have from day one.

Front. Back. Side. Rebuilt the right way.
