For this project in Beamsville, we lifted and relaid the entire patio after upgrading the foundation.
The existing base was insufficient, so we excavated and installed additional ¾” clear stone, properly compacted, to create a stable, free-draining base. On top of that, we installed high-performance bedding material to precisely level every paver before relaying the patio.
Once the patio was structurally rebuilt, we constructed a pergola directly over the paver surface, making proper base preparation even more critical to prevent future settlement under load.
The result is a solid, level patio designed to support both foot traffic and a permanent structure long-term. The homeowner, Chris, was extremely happy with the outcome and left us a five-star Google review.
